As Maxie is my favourite character of all time, and team magma and team aqua are my top most favourite pokemon related teams, I have been collecting everything that has them on it.
I’m currently sitting on my favourite cards that I want to grade once the price comes down and make a display on the wall.
The main focus here, isn’t the pokemon, but actually the humans! (trainer cards have always been a favourite of mine)
So all of these are cards that feature the humans from both team magma and team aqua, enjoy~
starting with the only graded cards I own, (purchased these a while back)
the 8.5 was bought because I like how half grades are a little rarer to find in psa, and it could give me a good example of what a non 10 actually looks like for grading.
Now for my own cards waiting to be graded one day:
(the doublers are just that I couldn’t pick which one looked better, so i put both in to decide later on which to send in)
I would love to grade these in as high as I can get, obviously the main two baddies, and their reverse holo’s would be part of my set
Now for the older set:

back to double crisis with the admins and grunts in rev holo:
I imagine these will be very tough to grade considering theyre the kind of rev holo that almost the whole card is shiny
These ones are interesting and it took me a long time to even know they existed! Team magma and aqua promo cards! japan exclusive of course.
what’s cool about these is that the whole card is holographic. both the image background is holo, and the rest of the card is like a reverse holo. Which means they’re probably gonna be a pain to grade high.
Possibly the only cards that might be worth something, the pikachu costume boss cards for team aqua and magma:
I was so lucky to get these years ago before the prices went up.

These are some of my favourite cards, the legendaries, with other pokemon and all the admins together. Im so happy that the 25th anniversary made a callback to these cards! its really nice to see them together (the’yre also mirror cards which i only recently found out are a thing in Japan)
Now for the things I don’t think can be graded, but they’re definitely part of the collection:

These are called ‘adventure cards’ im not really sure what sets or anything they are from:
Now these ones I really love: the Team magma card on the right comes from a little silver foil pack, I believe its some kind of promo card?
the grey scale ones are pulled from the Japanese double crisis set, and feature the trainers explaining how to use some of the set cards, I love them so much.
These are the aqua ones, and if you look at the bottom there are also full colour variants of the character cards, that I pulled from the korean version of the set, which is really cool, I’d love to get my hands on more of these but they are impossible to find. (Im not even sure what to search tbh)

I do have probably a full set of double crisis (I opened a lot when they came out) and maybe in the far FAR future I will attempt to complete a graded set of them, but for now I want to focus on the humans in the teams and any cards I can find with their faces on.
