If TCGplayer integrated ebay’s ‘standard envelope’ tracked delivery method that would be ideal
6 months later and I haven’t seen any changes to either platform. Has anyone noticed any improvements?
Things I was hoping to see:
- standard envelope with tracking for tcgplayer
- ebay utilizing TCGPlayer search feature. Instead of searching base set Charizard and finding 10,000 listings, I would find 5 main listings (one for each raw variant, and one for graded). Then when I click on the 1st edition category, I see listings just for that.
I’ve just started to sell my lower value cards on tcgplayer and it feels archaic compared to what I’ve grown accustomed to on ebay the past few years. Tracked envelope shipping and being able to print out shipping labels through tcgplayer needs to happen.
Legit started a few days ago so maybe I’m newb missing the ability to print shipping labels.
You aren’t missing anything. It’s the #1 reason why I left the platform and only sell on eBay now.
Is there a way to have what you charge for shipping cap at a certain amount if somebody buys multiple items from you?
Once you become a level 4 seller you can set a dynamic shipping rate, which for example can let you give free shipping for orders over a certain amount. Their shipping system and customization is still awful in comparison to eBay though. I do find it wonderfully simple for selling low-mid level modern cards since you don’t have to take photos or write descriptions.
Agreed. I love TCGplayer for listing lower value cards
Both would be excellent. It would save so much time if I just picked a set and searched like tcgplayer.
My search turned up nothing and this seemed like a relevant place to put this. Mods - feel free to move or delete
Did anyone see this article about upcoming layoffs at tcgplayer?
