Hi everyone, cursed state of Illinois has a new law in 2020 so that PAYpal has sent me a 1099-k even though I didn’t meet the federal threshold of $20,000. Illinois says if you sold $1,000 or more you gotta report it. This is a hobby for me not a business, the cards were purchased in 2019 and sold in 2020, about 18 or so. For anyone that has some experience, do I just enter it as miscellaneous income and then enter the amount is says on 1099-k then another line for total costs(fees and cards purchase prices)? Thanks
