So youāre saying itās people own fault for being naive and buying them? Not everyone is as knowledgeable about pokemon as we are here. Basically itās your fault? Thatās a great way of thinking.
I like to see a newbie shell $240 USD on a pack of cards lmao, anyone who is interested in paying that amount will be knowledgeable, you dont have to start pulling the victim card so soon, you wont be getting any sympathy from me
Nobody? Are you sure? Thatās a pretty confident statement. I say what I say to inform. I also feel the pulls are tainted by the way in which heās dealing. Iām sure many others donāt appreciate someone using this method to get cards. Iām sure itās given him a modicum of exposure. Btw why are you defending him so hard?
i agree after checking his recent sales on ebay that heās a bit of a shady character and dont like what hes doing, but you bring a lot of negativity to such a great pull
Youāre an idiot. Look on yotube, reddit, instagram and even ebay. People buy things for a one time nostalgia. Iāve watched people open up base set boxes. Last year I bought a 1st ed team rocket and jungle that someone just opened and put all the holos and rares back in the packs. He purposely opened the packs for nostalgia and sold them knowing heād lose a lot selling it. Just because you donāt think people do something doest mean itās not being done. You make a lot if assumptions in your argument but you donāt back it up with anything. Learn to use a premise and facts.
Letās calm down a bit and avoid the direct insults. I think we can all agree on these things:
Pulling epic cards is cool.
Selling weighed packs secretly is shady.
Thatās all there is to it. You both got your point across.
@swolepoke
Itās definitely fair to trust people. I would have no problem sending @smpratte an expensive card to grade for me, for example.
That said, I also understand where people are coming from when they are wary of sending such an expensive card, if only because it means extra shipping steps and we know we canāt trust the postal service. Haha.
I love this comment. Sometimes the best cards in your collection arenāt the ones that have the highest grades, but those that have the highest sentimental value. (Not that the two are mutually exclusive, mind you.)
What I was thinking as well.It costs nothing to join PSA as you get the 15 free grades.If anything you are doubling your chance of the card getting lost as he has to send it to Ludkins and he has to send it back to Germany!
You do need to pay but they give you the free 15 grades so it makes up for having to pay for it.Last time I checked I am sure it was $219 for a membership outside of the US.So that means I get 15 cards graded for around 15 bucks each which sounds fair enough to me.The German dude would have sent it to Ludkins so he could get the card some publicity, which is fair enough,but with such a rare card I would want to send it to PSA and get it back straight away.If I had that card and lived in the US I would take it to PSA myself and camp out in there garden until I got it back lol:-)
i have used that service before it gets very expensive very fast I need to renew my Psa account. I have quite a few cards I need to get graded and more coming very soon.
Also keep in mind that PSA places value limits on service levels. That SSB would probably fall in either the āSuper Expressā level ($2000-$4999 valued cards) or the āWalk-Throughā level ($5000-$9999) depending on how you value a Gem Mint condition SSB. Prices per card for those service levels are $75 and $150 respectively. Iām not too knowledgeable on price for these rare Japanese promo cards though, so donāt hold it against me if Iām totally off on the price of it.
