Also a full 1997 set of pika trophies is nuts! They are most likely all extra copies but I don’t think a full 97 set has been auctioned since like 2009:

Serious Q, does selling as a set hurt the potential value? I know people with 500k to burn on pokemon trophies live in a different atmosphere but I’m sure there are plenty potential bidders who would rather have just one than all three?
Yes its probably not the best way to sell the set. Piecing them out individually would be the way to go.

0 bids starting at 50k. Wil be interesting to see where this lands. Feeling it’ll go for a steal price— 384k for all

They all have the exact same cut and centering, most likely extra copies printed earlier this year

I can’t tell if you’re serious or not. I know that extra copies of rare cards exist, but is there any strong evidence that vintage trophies have been printed within the last 10 years?

This has to be a joke, no? It’s unlikely that TPC (or a rogue employee??) would even have the same materials that they used 25 years ago to exactly replicate these cards in 2023.

@qwachansey unrelated to admirals text but some cards you may want if you didn’t know about them selling
