There has to be some sort of evidence of what happened and who took them. It’s not like they vanished or a ghost scooped them. I’m worried the police don’t care enough to make it a priority.
In the detectives opinion, what does he think happen? Other than it being entirely gone which we know, but what steps led to it?
I’m still not clear on that honestly. I don’t know how they were able to pick the lock and leave no trace.
I have some knowledge about lock-picking (I’m a cybersecurity guy, it’s not a hobby. lol)
What kind of lock is it? You’d be surprised what can be picked.

If I believe some locksport videos, with the right tools and time almost everything can be picked by knowledgeable people!

It’s just a traditional cylinder lock. I studied up on some lock picking and I know you can get those cylinder lock tools to get it open, I’m sure that’s what was used.

Still no updates, the police basically can’t do anything. The thieves showed back up at their storage unit and I finally identified and photographed their vehicles and plates, gave that info to my detective. Sounds like it’s on me now.
I just contacted all three grading companies to deactivate all my certs and hopefully that slows them down.

I finally got a copy of my police report and told the three grading companies to either mark them as stolen or deactivate the certs, I don’t know what they can do. I’m learning a lot about our injustice system. oops, JUSTICE system. Silly me.

There have been some cards that have surfaced and I’m working with the police and ebay to get them back, CGC has marked all my certs as Reported Missing/Stolen.

Still missing a ton of higher value and rare items, but I’ll take anything I can get. This time it’s some charizards. The last round of stuff showed up at the local card shop and I had to pay to get some stuff back. 
Still no sign of the electrode shift or the shining gyarados, most of the charizards and square cuts….

Recovered a big chunk from the card shop today.
Korean unlimited Diglett, German black star promo pikachu and the 1st edition shadowless clefairy doll were from the first recovery back in December at another shop.
I’ll update the list soon for what is still missing.
