Stamps, Coins, and Sports Cards

I inherited a large collection of stamps from all over the world and German/Netherland coins. These belonged to my great grandma who lived in Germany pre/during WWII. I feel like over the past few years I have been able to gather so much info on Pokemon and now I’d like to gain info on Stamps and coins.

Lastly, I don’t think this collection is worth much but I collected a crap load of sports cards in the 90s… from what I can gather they are probably worth pennies but I’d still like to learn about what I have.

Any good sites or youtube channels to help inform me about any of these hobbies?

Thanks!

90s sports cards are more trouble than they’re worth.
Foreign Stamps and coins were very mass produced so though there might be a diamond in the rough, mostly not. For these, you’d have to do google searches on valuable ones then dig through yours and see if any match.
Lastly, you could go to a coin or stamp shop and see if they could help you.

Your best start is ebay…you can gather quite a bit of information from sellers/description of listings/prices.

Usually from my experience, the more expensive something is, it means that it has historic significance.

Otherwise you will have to into specialized forums, much like Pokemon.

So you are telling me that there isn’t a S.M.Pratte of Youtube for coins and stamps!?

**While I’m at it, what are the other great channels like S.M.Pratte for Pokemon. No hype channels…just good info. Do any exist?

I’ll tell you what, I have searched high and low and just cannot seem to find a czech stadion gold carl lewis card. Man it is indeed frustrating. This card has haunted me for months. A czech stadion gold redemption carl lewis. My white whale.

To me collecting coins is about alot more than just price. where is the coin from, Who designed the coin, who is on the coin, what was happening the year the coin was minted. You can learn alot about history you never expected by using coins as a jumping off point.
