Hi, I am a English Pikachu Collector.
I have basically gotten every variation of pikachus in english.
I have recently been getting the “heavy hitters” Being PSA 10 E3 Red cheeks and a few error cards.

I really want to find:

  • Square Cut Base Set Pikachu
  • Expedition SAMPLE Pikachu
  • WB Inverse stamp

I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask but I have had no luck for about 6 months on Ebay or Instagram and I am losing motivation.

Please help me.

Hey there, welcome!

It might be a good idea to create a WTB (Want to Buy) thread in the Buy Section and include the prices you’re willing to pay, hopefully someone looking to sell theirs will see them and you might get your hands on the cards :blush:.

@majomaal Not sure if I can motivational tbh… Inspirational yes, motivational not really. To clarify:

  1. I don’t have a Square Cut Base Set Pikachu myself yet, so if one pops up we would have a bidding war. :wink:

  2. I bought my Expedition Sample copy when I just started collecting Pikachus back in 2016 for 125 USD. These days however, they’re worth about 1-2k USD. A fellow Pikachu collector and friend of mine had been searching for one for the past two years before he was finally able to buy one halve a year ago. TCA_Gaming also has some in PSA-10 for sale every now and then on eBay (not sure what he’s asking for them anymore, but at least 2k if I remember correctly).

  3. I’ve only recently bought an Inverted WB Pikachu myself, after searching for it for roughly 4.5 years. I personally paid 3.2k USD, and I know TCA recently bought a copy as well for 3k USD. There just so happen to be one for sale on the Pokémon Gotta Misprint 'Em All FB group, so I’d say try your luck, @tcgpikachu . :wink: (Current best offer was 1500 USD 5 days ago, no idea if it’s still available.)

I feel like you could probably double that if you’re after a PSA 10 copy.

Perhaps. I haven’t seen them in a while, so I’m sure the prices have rose again. Then again, almost all of these Sample cards are PSA-10 worthy.
