for the pikachu gold card, i’d drop 5k for it today if i didn’t have my money tied up elsewhere. it’s pikachu, it’s an iconic release for the 20th anniversary, it’s limited, it’s gold…what else do you want?

Proper centering, haha I still don’t understand why they make a card from 525 USD worth of gold, selling them for 200,000 Japanese Yen (~1.9k USD) retail, and they couldn’t even have them properly centered… Some of them are, but most of them are off-centered. Which is pretty stupid if you’d ask me, especially since Japanese cards are usually known for their quality control. I guess it was too expensive to smelt them and try again. I assume they’d throw out off-centered cards during their production anytime it occurs, though.

Honestly this is the only data point that matters thus far in this thread. I would safely say $3,250 @garyis2000. Anything else is unsubstantiated speculation honestly.
