Social Media Trends?

Hi All,

Honestly, not big into social media at all. But would really like to start following big pokemon names to see the “trends” in the market. I recently heard in one of Scott’s videos that Skyridge is being hyped big time on social media (and have heard that from others on here). Where exactly are you guys seeing these trends? Could you provide some links to some instagram people who set trends so I can be on top of it? While I mostly just collect, I do also sell to help fund my hobby and it would be cool to see what is “in” at a current time.

I am fairly active on Instagram and I would say there is not 1 account that makes trends, it’s overall just the community as a collective.

There was a moment poke.meew actively promoted ex team rocket returns and he sold his PSA 10 copies right on the peak, he got alot of hate for doing that.

But where does it all come from? Like surely there has to be a start where people just decide what sets are the latest trend and just snowballs from there

It is not that simple as who set what trends. It happens slowly and collectively. Best way to know first hand is to actually participate.

hmm not really, it doens’t start with 1 person or 1 account. It’s just a collective of people and usually not done consciously
