Thanks everyone! Dogma, those pm’s were spot on about the selection at worlds, only japanese highlights were miracle diamond and a master key.
I purchased the japanese cards right before worlds (Kamex and Illustrator). All of the english cards were purchased at worlds, the japanese selection was limited.
I am extremely frugal. I have been buying and selling for ages and just have figured out how to cut corners and put away money for larger purchases!
@dogma - I gave up multiple opportunities to purchase a [Kamex Battle Computer Error “White R”] card – three times. I decided to let certain individuals have a chance of obtaining them first, because they had expressed their interest prior to my own. In certain circumstances, this becomes a habit. I would provide a private message with details of its whereabouts, and leave it be. It is a pretty thankless act of generosity, nowadays. You just take a breath and realize you did a bit of good
Thanks everyone, especially Unique! I would not have that Kamex if it was not for your generosity
And I do plan on getting the illustrator and Kamex card graded. I am thnking of getting a 6 card screwdown for each year for the winds. I think it will look nice have the staff-finalist in one of These!
Well I can say that it is not the one from japan! And If you notice the one ebay is not there anymore.
The information we received at worlds was from Tsuguyoshi Yamato. Yamato is a very well known figure in pokemon, he is also the same person who provided information about the Lugia and Ho-oh trophy cards.
I approached him and showed him photo’s of cards from my collection and when I asked him about the Illustrator all he said was “three”. I asked him 3 copies? And he said yes 3.
I personally believe that there are around 6 total, but this is the information he provided.
