I would assume Scott has third party insurance and doesn’t rely on the nightmare process that is claiming with USPS/UPS/Fedex, especially for anything worth 5 figures or more

If I’m paying $3 for shipping I better be getting at least 3 years of SMPatreon included with my purchase. There’s no way you could justify that much to ship some shiny cardboard.

Yeah… I would never ship an item over six figures. If someone can drop six or seven figures on a card, they can also buy a $1,000 plane ticket to pick it up.

way too expensive. i send all of my cards in hand written plain white stamped envelopes using cardboard and packaging tape

I wouldn’t assume that. Insurance is often a very impractical option when it comes to collectibles. It’s much easier to board a plane and do the exchange in person or just draft up a contract taking the liability off yourself if you have to ship something of that value

I jizz my pants every time i see shipping costs below 5€. Just bought a 15€ item where the price ended up being over 4x after shipping and import fees. Kinda used to it already but it slows down the purchases a lot
