What are the 3 rarest sealed booster boxes in japanese market based on your own observations?
How is the situation with new Japanese set releases? Do you have any special info about it? I always buy Japanese boxes from eBay when a new set comes out but I’ve noticed that it’s more difficult to find boxes since the release of SM8. Why is that? Also due to that the prices are also higher online. Is there growth of demand in Japan that explains this? I find it strange as sellers who often had boxes don’t seem to get them anymore lately. This also makes me wonder about the upcoming GX Ultra Shiny as pre-orders are sold out and people are selling pre-orders on eBay for more than $100 (which for a Japanese box is insane).

Which country did you have most trouble dealing with in terms of shipping/customers? Why do most japanese stores (at least on ebay) ship for free?

Do you think if there’s any chances anymore for tourists who visits Japan to have a chance to find a “hidden gem” perusing a hobby card store? In the past I would see a bunch of Efour members and youtube videos where people took pictures of decently rare trophy cards that were actually for sale.

I would make this a patreon question but I spent my last $20 increasing the size of my Steam Siege position. I’m up to 80 cases, when should I stop? I was thinking about 200 cases but I’d like a second opinion.
I hold 90% of the psa 10 full art Mega Steelixs and Volcanions. I want the 100% completion rate so I can corner the market, just like you cornered the marble market.
I’d also be interested to know how many cases of Steam Siege Jun has and how popular the set is in Japan. Should I also be buying the Japanese equivalent of Steam Siege?

What are your general thoughts on mass produced Japanese exclusive promos during the golden era from 1997 to like 2002 (corocoro, trainer magazine, ANA, Gameboy and such)? I think there is a lot of iconic artwork among them. Still most of them are dirt cheap right now. Are there just too many of them to ever spike in value or are they flying under the radar right now?
