Itās called a reveal. But I can understand how thatās confusing to you.
A leak is an intentional disclosure of information.
A leak is an intentional (or unintentional) release of information by someone other than the source authorised to release said information.
Leaks are usually caused by employees that have access to information that know they shouldnāt be releasing said information.
A reveal is an intentional move by the product source or authorised spokesperson.
Reveal =/= Leak.
Leak = unauthorised.
Reveal = authorised.

Leak and reveal arenāt interchangeable terms imo.
Maybe this is just regional differences in our English though. Something official is a reveal or announcement. Something unofficial is a leak.
