that is not small feat. I shudder to think about even attempting to find dutch unlimited anything. Glad you found it! It was only a matter of time.
These four cards represent all of the Slow cards released in Dutch. It may seem simple with only four cards, but it was challenging to acquire the Dutch Unlimited Fossil cards in particular. Fossil was printed in Dutch, but by the time Unlimited Fossil was printed, they made very few packs and had mostly switched to English cards.
After months of posting on Dutch Facebook groups looking for the Unlimited cards, the search is finally complete!
I want to also thank @frisianlunatic for the 1st edition Slowpoke & Slowbro, as well as for keeping me in mind for his Unlimited Dutch pack opening, even though no Slow friends were inside that particular pack.
Congrats! It’s always fun to learn about what cards are niche/rare in other languages (like the coloring book Galarian Slowpoke) ![]()
Much congratulations! It has been an incredible year so far and your updates always make me happy. You have been really persistent with these hard goals and it has been paying off. Great work! Thanks for sharing.
Cheers!
wow! Getting Dutch unlimited is a real struggle. Congrats on the big W

Thank you for the support @doomrai @mrbubbles @SolemnStar @bbobrob! Very grateful for E4 and the community for being along for the ride ![]()
Also a shout out to @doomrai because a few months ago, she joined a Dutch Pokemon Discord server to hunt for the card with me. While that approach didn’t pan out I’m still grateful for the help ![]()
Finally! Great!

Congrats!!
Nothing but love for your dedication to complete the slowpoke set! Its definatly something to be proud of! ![]()
Big congrats! A core species collecting moment finding an extremely difficult to find niche piece and celebrating it with like-minded people ![]()
Sharing some various exciting pickups I’ve had recently!
Missing Ink Error Slowbro
Super obsessed with this error card. I actually got this at the E4 meetup, I did some artwork for another E4 member and they gave me this error card in return! Thank you for the unexpected exchange, this totally made my day!
Spanish Unseen Forces RH Slowking
Fuerzas Ocultas had low print runs (yes, another hard to find set). Very happy to have picked this one up, now I’ve just got to hunt down the others!
Quebec-only* French Cards
*Maybe also Belgium? But not France
I’ve been on some quests recently for French printings that were never actually released in France. These can be kind of difficult to find, because they were mainly released in Quebec, and a lot of folks in Quebec collect English cards. I did manage to track these two down!
- Breakpoint 21/122 French Cosmos Holo
- International McDonald’s 5/12 French
A Birthday Gift: Ramoloss et Psykokwak
A friend was recently in France, and he returned with this as a surprise birthday gift for me. Turns out his hotel was right next to a card shop! He told me “I thought the odds that you had a random French Slowpoke were pretty low” and I told him “it’s more likely than you’d think”. Luckily for us both, I didn’t have this one, and it went straight into the spreadsheet!
Korean 20th Anniversary Start Deck Slowpoke
I’ve seen some other species collectors have a hard time with this particular set. I got really lucky, and a Korean eBay seller happened to have one. This is the only Korean printing (so far) of the original Fossil artwork!
All-Language Binders
Now that I’ve decided to collect all-language TCG slows, I’ve come up with a new binder system as well. I’m having a lot of fun with it ![]()
Volumes 1, 2, 3, and 4
I ordered four 12-card pink binders with pink pages to hold the all-language collection. I hand-painted the numbers on the side, as well as the designs on the front.
- Vol 1: 1997 – HGSS
- Vol 2: HGSS - SWSH
- Vol 3: SWSH - SV
- Vol 4: Whatever comes next

Binder Organization
There are many ways to organize a binder, so I came up with some guidelines for my collection:
- Cards are sorted by artwork, then by set, then language, then print edition
- Artworks are sorted chronologically; with some wiggle room for promos and language-exclusives to help the pages line up nicely
- Reprinted artworks are consolidated, but only within their volumes (so the reprints from 20th anniversary will not be consolidated into Fossil)
- Empty spaces are used to aesthetically align cards and provide buffer between different artworks and sets
So far, the first page is actually the only complete page:
Placeholders
I made my own custom placeholders to keep track of the cards I’m missing. It took a long time to fill them all out, but I’m quite happy with how they look!
Wait why are these binders so clean? They look great
thank you so much!
They look amazing! And the placeholders are such a smart idea! (might pick that up honestly lol)
don’t mind me, stealing some ideas here because of how much i adore the presentation
This is so incredibly satisfying.
The aesthetic mixed with the personalized attention to detail really hits every spot.
I adore your binder and the art in them. Those placeholders are so well done and are a really nice touch. There is a lot of love and dedication in your arrangements and it is really very inspiring. I love it.
Thanks for sharing the updates.
Cheers!
Oh my gosh I love your filler cards. They are freakin’ CUTE AAAAH! And your Binders are really cute too. I also notice those binders have colored pages which I didn’t know about the Gamegenic binders, so…siiiigh now I have to do more binder research. Perfect slowpoke pink too! I do love that you are getting many wins stacking up too. The friendly ink error one is what its all about. Great little story!
