Hello, long time reader, first time posting!
I have a base set unlimited charmander that has a strange dot above the H in “HP”
Is this an error card? I never really gave it thought in the past!

Yep, it’s a printer hickey error. You’ll find them once in a while on WotC cards ![]()
Awesome thank you! I’ll probably sell it so I can buy something else….do you have a rough idea of what these go for? I’ve been trying to do some research but it’s a little unclear!
No clue. I wouldn’t say it’s a highly desirable error, but you could post in TCG misprint subreddits or Facebook groups to get a better idea. As a not-error collector, I would estimate someone would buy it for less than $10?
I’m excited about this one! Just got the grade back. I’ve wanted (really needed!) one of these since they popped up.

welcome @Bee1127
What is this error?
Edit*(i didn’t realise the card was reactive, I thought it was from the light source)
It’s glowing. That’s defintiely not normal. Could possibly have radioactive ink?
Ooh looks like a XRF Spectrometer could come in handy!
I have a newfound obsession with the color bar miscut, if anyone has any then please post images so I can loom at it.
I shared this in my WTB thread, was a card I acquired through eBay in November last year. I don’t believe I’ve shared it on this thread.
Not for sale of course, as it’s part of my wife and I’s Jigglypuff species collection ![]()
Edit: Not color bar but I also acquired this miscut last year which shows the bottom of the sheet, which is additional holofoil. I shared this on my WTB thread as well, I don’t recall about this thread.
I’ve seen a few similar, the ones I’ve seen are usually white dots though.
Doesn’t Evolving Skies have one of the highest miscut rates? I’m pretty sure it is but if it isn’t than please correct me.
Asking here for help, I saw this card on ebay:
And am simply curious if its possible to know whether this was NFC? Or if this is a common type of miscut error that made its way into boosters back in the day?
Saw a similar(almost identical) error from another set(fossil) which makes me think it might be an NFC thing?
I picked this up on the prestigious, internationally recognised, national marill day (Mar 11)
The back is missing some print layers! The ‘albino’ back errors, I believe are completely black and white, but this one has a bit of a marill-themed blue gradient
