Should I buy Legendary Collection reverse singles now?

I am wondering if I should bite the bullet and start buying the LC singles. I’ve been watching the prices since late last year and they don’t really seem to dip below $30 for even the RH common cards on eBay. Which I guess is understandable given the limited print run.

I’ve just hesitated because the majority of the eBay listings seem to be in MP or worse condition and it’s hard for my mind to justify paying $35 for a MP Pidgey lol. I’m also not in a rush so am happy to wait. Though, it’s the last WotC set I don’t have, so would like to collect it someday. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Buy what you want. If you want those cards buy them now if you can. When I started collecting again 4 years ago, I was so concerned about what was gonna raise and the best investments etc but now I just wish I focused on what cards I wanted most and the most expensive cards first.

Legendary Collection cards won’t get easier to find, hunt for deals and piece it together. Super fun to do for any set.

I would buy them now.

Thanks! I think I am gonna just mobilize now and make eBay saved searches, buy when I can etc. I guess I had a bit of FOMO because when they were much cheaper around 2015 I was too focused on chasing Skyridge and the end of WotC. Then I left off for a while and got swept up in the YouTuber modern rush during the pandemic lol, during which time the price of everything swelled.

At that time in 2015 I was burned out from WotC era stuff, but recently, after so much modern I am coming to appreciate the reverse foil patterns and the fun I had tracking down individual cards back then. And even the beat up Skyridge stuff I got in 2015 is worth a lot now, so I’m confident LC will grow in the future too, barring Pokemon putting them in another Celebrations style set down the road.

Well anyways, putting it here now that I’m in the market to buy them.
