Should I avoid grading with BGS?

I’ve heard that PSA is the best company when it comes to grading. BGS is not anywhere near average when compared to PSA. I’ve seen lots of PSA graded Pokemon cards on ebay. There are about half as many BGS ones as there are PSA ones.

Some people have told me that if you had a Pokemon card in PSA 5 and the same card in BGS 9, the PSA graded one would sell for a price at least three times as much as the BGS one.

I’m not sure if it’s true. Should I avoid getting my cards graded by BGS for investment purposes?

Poor fourthstar…

Send some cards off to BGS and decide for yourself. Send the right card to the right company, they all have positive and negative qualities.

If you don’t know what you’re doing with regard to grading, don’t send to Beckett. Keep it simple and submit to PSA, and be prepared for a long wait.

That’s BS, BGS cards sell for less than psa sometimes, but not that bad. Who the hell told you that?
