“I love constructive conversations with reasonable and receptive people in this hobby about grading companies. They always conclude as a wealth of information and understanding from both sides.”

Definitely not string bid and shilled by a 0 feedback bidder all the way up. Definitely not.

100% if you grade with PSA or CGC.
That is why i said SGC ROI was a surprise.
Sometimes just selling quality RAW is the best way. But this posts was about TPG. RAW does really good, but expanding to slabs was the next step cause i have the raw to grade.
Quality gradable raw is the BEST ROI.
Don’t worry, his spirit lives on in many valued forum members.

This is exactly what I’m struggling with in this whole conversation. Even putting aside that CGC commands a huge chunk of the market compared to SGC, how is money being made from any company selling these types of cars?
Card: $6+$9 grading fee. =$15 expenses not counting shipping to/from grading. Sell for $25, pay $3 in eBay fees = $7 profit. If the buyer doesn’t pay for shipping, than half that. Not to mention the time and effort it takes to grade, list and package a card.
Seems like for the effort there are a lot better things one could do to make money. That said, if it’s working for @tokyopokemon than that is totally awesome! Many people would love to be able to generate a steady income from this hobby, so kudos to you for putting in the work and making it happen! I just don’t know if the answer here is pitching SGC or any other company like they are an infinite money glitch.

Firstly, Cgc graded more cards than Sgc in the photo attached. Secondly, who is #2 is not that relevant when the #1 player is 80% share. Thirdly, your arrogance is obnoxious and not warranted regardless if you are making $1 a day or $10k a day selling cards. Go do some personal reflecting and improve on your communication style…
