Scarlet & Violet is the first set of the era by the same name, introducing gen 9 Pokémon, released in English on March 31st, 2023. This was also the first set with Terastal phenomenon Pokémon, and also included Pokémon ex again, which we’ve last seen during the EX era in 2007.

The Gardevoir evo line in this set is defintely my favorite, especially since I collect FA Supporter cards and other FA cards featuring people:
The alt art FA cards of the new gen 9 legend Pokémon that are the focus of this set are both also very good:
This set is also great, since it included another Seviper.

Favourite has to be the Drowzee, which, despite it´s ties to card pumping actually has maybe the most interesting art in the whole block.

This set actually has some incredible cards, a very notable one. Starting with most important:
Need I say much? Two of the finest cards produced in all of the 2020’s so far. Unreal. Two of the best artists new and old, giving us heaven on earth.
Next are also amazing:
Lovely watercolor sato and the colors in muk are excellent.

The best base set since HGSS imho, I think this was a wonderful introduction to SV!
I love these two by Kawayoo:
Besides the Ralts line IR/SIR, the Riolu IR is my favorite special art. It is so fun and whimsical!
