Does anyone know anything about the SD 100 Chance Battle? I found myself scrolling on instagram and someone posted about it being a pop 5000 card but then of course my finger slipped and it was lost on my feed never to be seen again. I tried looking on serebi and through here but couldn’t find anything about this Chance Battle aside from the obvious that it was in Japan and took place during 2022 
I also heard 5000 when everything was originally announced but I believe they reprinted the start decks and may have also had more competitions.
These promos are very abundant and can be purchased for 5$ since the very beginning.
I’ve been eyeing this one as well. There was one on PWCC last night.
Ah ya I’m curious what they ended up doing. It seems like 2022 was just yesterday but I cant seem to recall when they lifted the covid restrictions.
The promo card “Hyper Ball” was handed out as a participation award during the ‘Start Deck 100 Battle’. The number of 5000 comes from the fact that, a total of 100 store tournaments will be held at Pokemon card gyms nationwide and 50 people could participate per store tournament.
The first-place finisher in each tournament will be given the right to participate in the championship match which was streamed online and the players who win the championship tournament will receive a special play mat and 100 types of “Start Deck 100” (deck numbers 001 to 100)!
