Rosetta Stone?

Does anyone here have experience with Rosetta Stone?

If so, is it a positive or negative experience?

I already consider myself fairly conversant in Spanish since my employment greatly benefits from it. That said, is the program a waste of money for me? People have told me great things about the program. I am just a skeptical person when making purchases.

Best,
David

How much does it cost these days? I had the mega pack a couple of years ago and I would say it was comparable to taking a class in a college environment, maybe a little less so. Apparently there are online subscriptions now? I would say spending money to better useful skill such as speaking, especially one you would actually use, is always worth it. You say you are conversant in Spanish but can you read and write in Spanish? Do you do well at listening to and decyphering different accents at full speed? I would say go for it mang. They have a demo so you could even just try that.

You could also try languagepod101.com which offers many podcasts and study materials for a free month or for a subscription. I’ve been using it for Bulgarian and I feel much more confident in it after about 4 months. Although, it also depends on how dedicated you are and if you even have much time to do it haha

Can I practice my Spanish with you? I need to improve on my conversation skill
