Riolu/Lucario All Languages Spreadsheet - Updated 21st of August

Hello! I have been collecting Riolu and Lucario for a very long time. I decided since my English goals are finally close enough to where I want them, I should branch into collecting all languages! I've spent years and countless hours working on this sheet, refining it through multiple versions and adding new information. I've put a lot of work into getting eyes on all the cards and confirming their existence too. I believe that this sheet is very well researched and up to date! I will continue to maintain and develop it for the years to come. I'm sharing this template as I feel it can be super useful to other dog collectors.

Please reach out if you have any questions or know of anything I have missed. I’m always happy to have a chat! My main collection thread is here. And thank you to my friend @citriina for letting me use aspects of your spreadsheet template to make this new version of my sheet easier to look at for multiple languages! And as always, a big thanks to the species collecting community on Discord for the help and company!

Spreadsheet Template

I’ve made a version that anyone is able to use to track their collection! Please make sure I stay on there somewhere linked for credit, otherwise you’re welcome to customise however you see fit! Please let me know if you use it or find it helpful, I’d love to know how many people it could help!

Front Page Tracker

I’ve sorted it to track by language separately for Riolu and Lucario. A bar will show up to track your progress on the language. The lighter shade indicates things on order, while the darker shade is cards you own physically. They don’t contribute to the final total until they are in hand.

I also include official sleeves, coins (mainline TCG), jumbo cards, Sir Aaron/Riley, and cameos.

I have tabs for each aspect of the collection as well to make it easier to sift through!

Riolu and Lucario Collection

I separate Riolu and Lucario into their own tabs so the cards are easier to find. It’s sorted by English release date.

Language Key

ENG - English
GER - German
FRE - French
ITA - Italian
ESP - Spanish
LA-ES - Latin American Spanish
PT - Portuguese
PL - Polish
RUS - Russian
JPN - Japanese
KOR - Korean
CN-T - Traditional Chinese
CN-S - Simplified Chinese
THAI - Thai
INDO - Indonesian

I have also included notes in every cell that does not have a card for it. You can spot them by the black triangle in the top right corner cell. I include things like release information or how confident I am in something not existing. Some are quite interesting, and you might just learn something new!

Misc Variants

The Misc Variants page will track common variants/errors. I will only consider adding errors that are common and readily available and variants that don’t feel significant enough to add to the main collection list, as I don’t feel these add directly to completion. I’ve added notes to explain the variants in the notes column.

I’ve added notes to explain each error/variant in the notes column.

Sleeves

All official sleeves that feature Riolu or Lucario can be found here. It’s a cool way to collect more awesome art you can’t find on cards!

Coins

I have listed all the mainline TCG coins here that have Riolu or Lucario on them.

Jumbo

I have added jumbos for those who are interested in collecting them. It has all languages included.

Sir Aaron / Riley

I have added Sir Aaron and Riley (Aura Guardians!) as they’re very close to Riolu/Lucario in the lore/media.

Cameos

I have listed all cameos here across all languages. I have ignored decks with Lucario icons as deck stamps, as it felt a bit far. I may add them in the future if people want it!

I have also added notes to help you spot where the cameo is on the card.

How to Use This Spreadsheet

To make a copy of this spreadsheet you can edit and save yourself, please follow these steps.

Click on “File”, then “Make a copy”.

A box will pop up. Name the sheet whatever you’d like, then click “Make a Copy”.

In a new tab, the sheet will open up and you can edit it to manage you collection.

Please don’t request access to the template. It gives me your full name on Google and your email, and I don’t want your personal information! I haven’t tried this sheet using things like Microsoft Excel. I hear the code doesn’t always transfer well, so I’m not sure if it will work.

Changelog

Patch notes
21/08/2026

Added:

  • Riolu 155/M-P JPN - Holo Tournament Participation Prize “Championship Series 2027” Stamp
  • Celebratory Fanfare MEP120 Cameo
  • Pikachu ex 150/128 Cameo
  • Asia Championship Series League Points Prize Sleeve

I will remove/add the Korean and Simplified Chinese versions of Celebratory Fanfare if/when they get revealed. I’m also waiting to see if translated versions of these cards will come out this year for the euro languages. I’ll fill in the other languages for Pikachu ex when they are revealed. The release date for the sleeve will be added when Ultra Ball League begins. There is no date yet.

I’ve also decided I won’t add leaked cards to this sheet until they are officially revealed to avoid spoiling people. I am tracking them on my own sheet and will add to the template when appropriate. I’m also pondering not adding cards to this sheet until fully revealed across all languages, but for now I will add them as they start to show up.

Added:

  • Riolu 031/049 CN-S - Non foil, poke ball reverse, and master ball reverse from the Mewtwo Dragonite Camerupt and Sinistcha Happy Combo Happy Pack
  • Lucario 027/073 PT - Full Art PlayLab Demo Deck (Thanks @SableyeStyle !)
  • M6 Battle Start! Red sleeve
  • Fennekin cameo index numbers across all languages except Korean, as that hasn’t been revealed yet.
  • “How to Use This Spreadsheet” section

Corrections:

  • Correctly described Lucario 005/006 CN-S - Holo “Happy Combo” Stamp from the Mewtwo Dragonite Camerupt and Sinistcha Happy Combo Reward Pack
  • Moved Riolu 076/132 Prize Pack Series 9 “Play! Pokemon” Stamp in Portuguese to a new row, as the holo has been revealed to be different. It’s now Star Holo Prize Pack Series 9 “Play! Pokemon” Stamp
  • Added some better images for set logos
  • Adjusted translations for Happy Combo decks
  • Correctly spaced mentions of poke balls and master balls

@SableyeStyle was able to find a photo of the PlayLab demo deck card for me in Portuguese, so I’ve added it to the sheet. And thanks to @Maplesss for helping with Traditional and Simplified Chinese cards, information, and translations.

I have finally added a “How to Use This Spreadsheet” section, as it occurred to me everyone may not be familiar with Google Sheets. Please don’t request access to the template. It gives me your full name on Google and your email, and I don’t want your personal information! I haven’t tried this sheet using things like Microsoft Excel. I hear the code doesn’t always transfer well, so I’m not sure if it will work.

05/07/2026 (5th of July)

Added:

  • Mega Lucario ex 077/126 Thai - New Trainer Journey Mega Evolution Rental Deck (Thanks @ThatOneReshiramGuy !)
  • Lucario ex 005/006 CN-S - Mewtwo Dragonite Camerupt and Sinistcha Happy Set Holo Reward Pack “Happy Set” Stamp
  • Lucario MEP095 ENG, GER, FRE, ITA, ESP, LA-ES, PT - Cosmos Holo 30th Celebration “30th Pikachu” Stamp
  • Changed the front page to more accurately count how many cards are on order
  • Updated language to describe specific variants more accurately, or what decks things are from, more promo details, etc.
  • Changed some grammar and corrected capitalizations
  • Reordered a few entries to be more streamlined

@ThatOneReshiramGuy was able to get a video of Mega Lucario ex 077/126 Thai - New Trainer Journey Mega Evolution Rental Deck for me to confirm it does indeed exist and that it’s non foil! All I’ve got to do now is track down the Indonesian one and confirm if that one’s a new variant also.

I was also alerted by @aeyu that PlayLab demo decks do exist in Portuguese! I’ll update the sheet to add Lucario once I get eyes on it to confirm Lucario exists as well.

I will confirm that the 30th Anniversary Lucario is cosmos as well closer to its release. I will also add the details for the other languages as those get revealed.

13/06/2026

Added:

  • Mega Lucario ex 029/063 CN-T - New Trainer Journey Mega Evolution Rental Deck (Thanks @Maplesss !)

I’m aware of New Trainer Journey existing in Thai and Indonesian as well, but I’m not sure if their decks are non foil like it is in Traditional Chinese. I haven’t managed to get eyes on them yet, but I’m actively working on it! Asia English seems to use the League Battle Decks, so I expect them to be holo.

10/06/2026 (10th of June)

  • Set image for Starter Deck ex Mega Lucario (Thai/Indo)
  • Better source link for COOLxMETAL Lucario Blue sleeve

The following card may be an exact reprint of the Play Pokemon Series 8 card. I will wait and see if the stamp is in the same spot before adding it to the sheet.

  • Lucario 077/132 ENG, GER, FRE, ITA, ESP, LA-ES, PT - Holo Prize Pack Series 9 “Play! Pokemon” Stamp

  • Added notes to DP Entry Pack (Japanese) and Space-Time Creation (Japanese) For Riolu and Lucario to describe what makes them different from each other. It can be found over the checkbox.

Corrections:

  • Changed World Championship deck notes to include the deck name

I have listed all cameos across all languages. I have ignored decks with Lucario icons as deck stamps as it felt a bit far. I may add them in the future if people want it!

23/03/2026

Added:

  • Misc Varients page was created.

Corrections:

  • Lucario 142/128 Simplified Chinese - Note corrected

The Misc Varients page will hold common variants/errors. At the moment I’ve added saturn Lucario and slim/jumbo Simplified Chinese variants. I will only consider adding errors that are common and readily available and variants that don’t feel significant enough to add to the main collection list, as I don’t feel these add directly to completion. I’ve added notes to explain the variants in the notes column.

20/03/2026

Added:

  • Riolu 379/742 Korean - Start Deck 100 Battle Collection
  • Lucario ex 380/742 Korean - Start Deck 100 Battle Collection
  • Mega Lucario ex 077/132 English - Holo “Masterball League” Stamp

Removed:

  • Lucario SWSH186 Portuguese - Line Holo Prerelease “Staff Brilliant Stars” Stamp

I’m rather confident Lucario SWSH186 Portuguese staff does not exist. I’ve left a note on the sheet in its place explaining the research I’ve done and the people I’ve talked to to try and find it. It may exist, but I’m not confident it does.

Amazing work building this spreadsheet! One of the most thorough and beautiful species collection spreadsheets I’ve seen. It’s formatted so nicely, and I know how much love and research you put into creating it. The split tracker for Riolu and Lucario is very cool. I love all of the colors, notes, icons, and images.

I know many species collectors (myself included) have been able to build collection spreadsheets thanks to your work on this, and thanks to @citriina and their tutorials and templates as well. Thank you! :heart_hands:

Beautiful work as always! I love the upgrades you’ve made here, and the SDU and The List :copyright: :trade_mark: are lovely at-a-glance encapsulations of your collection and overall progress. I especially love the separate trackers for Riolu and Lucario, and it makes me so happy that you’ve taken aspects of my work over the years too- hooray for information sharing!

Overall, you’ve got a super cool, super awesome sheet that I can’t wait to see develop over the years to come!

I’ve been hard at work the past few days! I’ve added a complete Sir Aaron / Riley list. I’ve also reorganised the sleeves/coins page to better fit the theme of the rest of my sheet. I also added the multi language jumbos.

I just have some more research to do around some release dates, but otherwise those are all done!

I will be making a version for everyone to download and use today! Sorry it’s taken so long, I’ve been busy as! I’ve had a few requests for that. I just want to remove the things I’ve put into my sheet that are unique to me and how I like to collect :3

Here is the version anyone can use! Please make sure the sheet credit comes back to me, otherwise feel free to customise how you see fit. Please let me know if you use it! I’d love to know how many people it can help! And let me know if you have any questions or comments.

The resources page isn’t complete yet and has a lot of things I usually use, one day I’ll finish it…

You are insane for this. I started my own and just came across this and dropped mine instantly.
Thank you so much.

Any way you could add a Combined tab with both riolu and lucario in release order?

Also maybe a tab for all the cameos ? ( theres gonna be so many Switch cards from the dp era lol)

either way, thank you so much! will be using this on my journey to collect them all !

Hi there! I’m glad my spreadsheet was useful for you!

Adding these things are something I would like to do eventually, but it takes a lot of time and effort and research to get it done to the standard I’d like it to be at. I plan to make release date lists for each language, and add cameos at some point.

You’re welcome to add them yourself to your sheet

Thanks for reaching out, good luck!

i will attempt, i suck with sheets though lol

love the work!!

This is such an amazing tool to have. I’m trying to masterset all English & Japanese Riolu cards. Here I thought I only had one missing but was missing a handful of these ! Quick question about one of the Riolu:

Ultra Force 029/050 Reverse Black Index
Ultra Force 029/050 Reverse White Outline Index

Are these two literally just a difference with these two ? I have one of these but can’t tell which one it is…

Going to jump in for Bea since I did quite a bit of research on these prints specifically (and I’m where they got this info from  Bea, please feel free to elaborate further on Riolu/Lucario specifically when you come online!)

Certain Sun & Moon special sets with reverse holos have two distinguishable print runs. The first print run looks like this:

As you can see in the photo above, the number and illustrator are both in black. Due to the nature of Japanese mirror holos, this can make the numbering index extremely difficult to see from certain angles:

The second and later print runs corrected that issue, and have a white outline around the index like this:

This outline makes it a lot easier to see the index from all angles! These are effectively 1st edition and unlimited variants, even though TPC stopped doing 1st ed stamps at this point.

Sorry I was asleep! But @citriina explained it perfectly for you  There are a few other random varients I’m tossing up on adding like saturn Lucario or slim/jumbo SC cards. I think I need to make a new tab with those kind of extra varients, I think they’re just interesting but not enough to be considered apart of the main list. Idk, maybe thats just me though!

I’m glad my sheet is helpful for you, good luck on your collection!
