Hey all! Wanted to share some info I’ve found on a really cool product line “The revival of Lugia” illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita. I’ve also scanned the binder in high resolution! If you are wondering why Lugia is pictured with all the Eeveelutions, it turns out this line of goods was a cross promotion for Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness! thank you for sharing this. I appreciate the history for its own sake. Its a wonderful work of art, with awesome pokemon, and I think I know just what to do with it! I actually really like that one with the legendary beasts and the tower in the background. Any idea what that one is and if we have it in a nice scan too? ---

amazing, thank you for sharing. And holy guacamole. I just jostled an ancient memory. I realized that I’m like %90 sure I actually have that darkrai with the starter pokemon art as one of those(whatever you call them) plastic sheets they love to use in japan as a backing surface for writing on. I literally bought it IN Japan in 2007. Likelihood I still have it is slim. ---

oh thank you. I was more speculating on if a scanner would even work due to potential of glare from the high gloss. But this is actually wonderful. I appreciate your efforts greatly! The Spine is such a nice a touch. Good job on the photos. ---

I’m a little confused why you are asking for a scan of the binder. I added a high-res scan of the Japanese binder at the very top of the post. ---

because of the pattern on the back specifically. and again, I was merely speculating if scanning such a glossy surface would even come out looking okay. So it was very kind of them to try to get a better angle. I was just musing. ---

Ah gotcha, the binder I have has the exact same glossy surface and turned out just fine. 👍
