While testing out my new v600 scanner I threw one of my Shadowless Gastly 50/102s under it, and I noticed these two spots of additional cyan. I sent the pictures to a fellow error collector, @leechseed20, to see if her copies were affected as well. Not only are all of her copies affected, but she noticed it on all of her 1st Edition and Shadowless Psychic/Water/Grass/Colorless non-holo cards from Base Set!

Can anyone else confirm these findings, or does anyone have any copies that disprove these findings? It’s pretty interesting that not all card types are affected from what we can see.
From my collection I can confirm that none of my cards contradict your findings. All non hollo 1st Edition and Shadowless have that error for Psycic, Water, Grass and Colorless types. And the other types do not. My collection is just in English so I cannot confirm other languages.
So far as I’ve checked, this matches. Every card I have that qualifies has that same print pattern in that location.
[EDIT] I did find a Machoke with a similar looking print pattern, but it is really hard to tell with the naked eye. Posting a 600 DPI scan in a moment and we can verify then.
It is tough to tell on fighting, but it does look like some artifact is there at least on Shadowless Machoke. Really faint but they do appear in the similar locations as the others.
