Hey all, I apologize if this isn’t in the right category, I was looking the old thread for gripes lol, if it isn’t, can an admin move it to the appropriate thread or direct me where to put it? I just wanted to bring awareness and also if this has happened to anyone, it has been many years since I got scammed.
I bought this case early 2022 and wanted to keep it sealed, seller had really good feedback. I decided to open it and I believe some boxes were legit and some were not, some booster box had some packs that had no code cards. I felt extremely bad as I did not look completely into each box as the first one seemed fine, but when I sold it someone on a Facebook group, he caught it and talked to me about it and we worked it out but I felt horrible!
Case I bought:

Beyond the missing code cards, were there other indications that the boxes were tampered with? Code cards can be missing on occasion due to manufacturing issues.

That seller is very reputable for modern sealed on ebay. QA was wack in that era. I got a case of boxes (might have been from them idk) of CR which literally didn’t have wrap on the boxes

Nothing really jumped out at me, I didnt really pay attention until the box was sent back to me. I looked at the seal and noticed a very small white blob in the plastic, sorry hard to explain. Looks like one of the boxes the packs were flipped upside down. The seller might of bought it from a distributor. I at least messaged them and let them know about the case that was sold to me. As far as the packs missing code cards, i didnt realize that could happen, as that hasnt happened before.

Which sucks even more, I did my due diligence
Think it’s way more likely you got a paranoid buyer than that seller selling you something fake.
This is why I hate selling sealed.

Agreed with @ronsoman and @hypernova. You got played by an anxious buyer.
