Question on Cardmarket (+ maybe other sites)

Sorry if this has already been asked but I didn’t see any mention of it under the ‘cardmarket’ tags, but any help with this is very much appreciated. I’m currently in the (very slow) process of trying to master Base/Jungle/Fossil in Dutch and I’ve used Cardmarket twice with little issue, but I’ve noticed something with several sellers’ descriptions on the cards. Here’s a screenshot of what I’m referring to:

The ‘PKM’ with three numbers (#-#-#) has me completely thrown. It’s usually with cards that don’t have a photo associated with it but some with photos do. I checked under Cardmarket’s page on card value listings but didn’t see anything referring this. Any ideas?

In my experience cryptic descriptions like this one most of the time refer to the binder, box etc. the seller stores the card in. It is a reminder to help them find the card.

It’s indeed what @Gottdrak mentioned. Usually those sellers have multiple of the same cards for sale, sometimes in varying qualities (e.g. a NM and LP copy of the same card), and especially the larger sellers use codes they’ve come up with themselves to help them find the correct card in their inventory when someone purchases it. :person_shrugging:

Greetz,

I never would have pieced that together, thank you!

And thank you @Quuador for confirming!
