The Question of the Day is a way to facilitate community discussion to help members ponder the unanswered questions of the world that are somehow relating to the hobby. Questions are many times open ended and up to interpretation. Feel free to post your thoughts in as much or as little detail as you’d like.
Helpful Considerations may or may not help some people focus their answer, these are blurred to not bother those who have their own ideas.
Today’s Question: QotD: You get put in charge of the PSA Department of .5s and you have a quota. What condition would qualify any cards to have a .5 in their final grade?
Helpful Considerations: Imperfect gloss 8.5? Card ripped but hanging on by a sliver 1.5? 200+ card order needs pop control 7.5?
When you breathe on a card and it gets a little bit of condensation on the surface from the humidity, Id make that drop it half a grade into the realm of the final grade having a .5, but only if it doesnt clear or evaporate within 1 second. Quota will be met immediately and I can relax the rest of the time.
