QotD: Why does charizards neck keep changing lengths? How long is it supposed to be?

Helpful Considerations: Unique pokemon quirk? Its a species trait? Artists are dumb and fit anatomy to pose?

I think of it as individual variation within a species. Maybe Charizards from Kanto generally have longer necks than Charizards from Galar?

Because of old age charizard neck bone started to bend and it went shrinking..

I think it depends on how you measure it

Same reason why we have different hand sizes. Some people have really huge hands. Some people have really small hands.

I’m sure someone knows, but, other than stock sprites, I’ve wondered if TPC keeps a list of canonical measurements and ratios. Based on art variations though, it’s prob just vibes (good thing to just use vibes tbh, unless it looks off to me, then it’s a bad haha)

I love the poketoon with grampa Charizard, it’s so cute, I’ve watched it too many times.

As for the neck, other than the 151 card I can’t really a picture another no-neck Charizard

We all know it just turned 30 and from personal experience i can say that majority of your body starts to decompose after hitting 30, why not neck too
