For me it’s how many roasts, how often a characters die, if they openly show the circle of life, and how much GOOD comic relief there is.
Also I met the second english voice actor of brock and he was pretty nice but then again he didn’t crack jokes as good as the original, same with james, that’s how I rate a anime
All in all it’s the comedy that gets me and I don’t enjoy the new comedy as much as the old
Best movie - First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back
Best series - (for now) Pokémon Journeys: The Series, Ash’s climb to defeat the World Championships Masters Eight was great
Pokémon Horizons is the only series I’ve kept up with from the very beginning, something I couldn’t do with the original series with Ash (Dragon Ball Z was much more interesting back then lol) . Thoroughly enjoying the more mature direction and looking forward to Liko/Roy/Dot’s next arc Mega Voltage
