It’s ridiculous that we don’t have one already. Ferns have been ubiquitous for over 300 million years and they would give us Pokemon with Spore that are not mushrooms or Smeargle.

A Tardigrade “Water Bear”. Would be even better if they remained microscopic :microscope:

Would you prefer a narwhal pokemon to be a new line or do you see it potentially being a third evolution of Seel as this person suggested with their design:

Malachite

Bubba

Maned Wolf

Luna Moth

Pipevine Swallowtail

Bomberdier beetles

Dumbo Ocjtopus

Hooded Pithoui(Its a bird with deadly neurotoxins)

Allotropa Virgata (sugarstick plant)

I guess that should do.

Following the plant theme I’m gonna say nettles, none of the existing grass Pokemons don’t really have matching appearance with it.

Also a small tortoiseshell looking Bug/Flying Pokemon is needed to keep nettle creature at bay.

Correct me if I am wrong…

I find few similarities here especially the legs and ears, but the tail goes different.

i don’t know the exact origin but if looked similar to maned wolf..

Some have already been named that came to mind (Narwhal; Peacock; Sundew plants), but here some other that might make great Pokémon inspirations:

Tufted Deer:

Blue Dragon (Glaucus atlanticus and Glaucus marginatus):

EDT: Actually, East Sea Gastrodon might be based on this.

Cuscuta:

This one might be better suited for a Ghost/Grass Type attack rather than Pokémon, though. Actually, now that I think about it, the existing Pokémon move Leech Seed might be based of this.

Torquoise Jade Vine:

Veiled Lady Mushroom:

Bacteriophage Virus:

I had the same thought with Thievul

what we really need is some better birb representation

1. Hipster Bird ( Wilson’s Bird of Paradise)

2. Space Bird (Superb Bird of Paradise) There are 2 types

3 and 4 should be version exclusive legendaries!

3. Even the girls are pretty, but still not as much! (Many Colored Fruit Dove) female is the green with pink

4. CLOAK X DAGGER (Black Sicklebill)

We need an actual bee Pokémon. Our current lineup is all wasps

Combee is a bee Pokémon. Or a Magneton/Dugtrio-style three-bee-Pokémon-stuck-in-their-honey-comb to be more exact.
But I agree a loose bee Pokémon would indeed be cool. And a fat bumblebee as well.
