The word has evolved into something of no immediate monetary value For me it’s any card I won’t keep in a binder or graded ---

For me its duplicates that I wont use. It doesnt mean they are useless, but better to call them bulk so I KNOW what I have. ---

I love the idea of trading $3 cards for vintage 1st edition commons and uncommons at card stores. It’s like a portal back to 2000s Books-A-Million on Pokemon Saturdays, except I get to trade all this modern bulk. ---

It’s not about the price for me, more about the guarantee of getting it for sure like @Ratequaza mentioned and about the card layout, an ultra rare might be worth cents but it anyway often feels more special than any regular layout card regardless if i need it or not
