I have currently 5 fully painted armies (Adeptus Custodes, Necrons, Tyranids, Dark Eldar and eugh Space Marines) as well as 3 Necromunda gangs and a Trench Crusade warband. I then have the entire Bloodborne Board Game in my backlog, hundreds of other minis left to paint, another Trench Crusade warband to go and some display/competition pieces that I’m not likely to get round to any time soon.
I skip this hypothetical Pokémon army! But perhaps open commissions…
There are many ways to paint them to be interesting, even if they have established colour schemes and are a little basic in shapes - all painting is lighting and shape. Lack of detail is actually much nicer to paint.
I am going to repaint a TOMY figure for fun thanks to this idea tho!
