Nice! I switched from English dub to Japanese sub around the XY era, since I had to wait longer and longer for dubs to come out. I think someone here on the forum or in Discord mentioned the dub is currently literal months behind on the sub. 
But since youāre already go to the DP era, just continue watching and finish everything. Donāt forget the movies, specials, spinoffs (e.g. PokĆ©mon Origins or PokĆ©mon Congierge), and banned episodes, haha. 
Iāve already watched all of them about 7-8 years ago, and recently also caught up with the latest season. Iām only a bit behind on some of the specials/spinoffs, like PokĆ©toons, which Iāll get to eventually.
