Hello guys and here we are into another set, the middle evos of pseudo legneds, there are heavily disappointing middle evos which are good in base forms and also there are excellent middle evos too. So first let’s send out those disappointing 3rd class drawings out… Let the fight begin..
Sliggoo is one of the worst Pokemon ever designed. 10 times worse than the second worst one here.
sliggoo or pupitar can go in any order, i want them to just go that’s it…

This is gonna awful because i would like dump them all at last place and let dragonair regin supreme at #1

The issue for me is I don’t dislike any of these as Pokemon (compared to some of the starter options), so I’m ranking them based on an arbitrary self definition of what I think a good pseudo legend would be. Even though I voted Bagon for last place, I think it’s a fine design for a Pokemon in general.
Also, shouldn’t we have included hisuian sliggoo to be eliminated first?
we all know what’s going to win in the end, but who is going to get second best?
To continue with the grudge; I hate the Jangamo’o line with a burning passion thanks to Pokémon Go. I cannot look at Hakamo’o and think; oh that is great design. No. Just no.
So my first vote, maybe wasted, goes to Hakamo’o.
While Pupitar, Metang and Sliggoo are worse designs maybe…

One of the few middle stages that looks a little proactive and not a completely dumb-looking pupa. It has a funny face, it is a cute snail..

Yup hakamo-o, pupitar, sliggoo, shelgon and metang need to go out before arctibax. Multiple votes early for arctibax is bothering me. It’s the better one in the line, and we don’t have decent middle evo pseudos (except for 2 G.O.A.Ts dragonair and drakloak)

hakmo-o just looks goofy with his head doodle. It was cute and heart shaped on jangmo-o, still needed to be more complex but it fit. This doesn’t.
Honestly for middle evos these are still really great. We all know dragoinair is going to win. its one of the best middle evos ever made.
But there are some solid ones here. I am shocked people don’t like shelgon, its a solid design and really interesting.
I’ve always thought that pupitar was cool. its like a cooler kakuna and when he evolves, his shell/body is like the mech pilot pod inside his chest. What a great concept. I also love spiky stuff.
Sliggoo is just going from a slug to a snail, makes sense.
As dumb as the concept is, dEINo ZWEIlous hyDREIgon gets me. Two heads are cooler than one.
Drakloak really is just like smaller final evo so he is pretty neat, plus has a little brother on him, thats kinda adorable.
Acrtibax is a massive improvement.
Gabite is a little goofy. If he didn’t have a humpback and the head jet engine things looks a little smaller or cooler.
Metang just needs to lose the carrot nose, but he is otherwise just mini metagross.
So yeah, in context overall, not bad. middle evos are usually awkward, but again, these are among the best in pokemon.
Egyptian Aerodactyl is a pretty decent upgrade for Jank-O. Definitely doesn’t deserve to go before Arctibax even though it looks like that’ll happen.
