Hello guys and welcome to the second day of polling. Frigibax took the blow yesterday with highest number of votes polled. Every pseudo design is good in some way so taking one out is actually so difficult. Frigibax is really unique for it’s typing but it’s concept is actually pretty much repeated. Angry kaiju.. same as tyranitar.. So yeah little fresh concept may have put it up, hence frigibax takes the 10th spot..

I’ve come to the conclusion that I quite like Deino, possibly my favorite. I don’t wanna see any BW discrimination this time.

Jank O, Fribibilibak and Goomy are horrible, the rest are of good stock.

I personally don’t dislike Jangmo-o, tbh. If it’s yellow heart would have been an oval, I would even have put it a bit higher on my list.
But I can understand the current vote for it, since apart from Frigibax, all options are pretty solid.

Problem when you are 90% perfect but all others are close to 99% perfect designs.

Jangmo o ‘s whole line probably face this problem :upside_down_face:

Exactly. The issue is that some of the pseudos got amazing design for their first stage, and some don’t. Really pulling them down.

Larvitar, Beldum, Deino really are strong designs.

Bagon and Gibble got something going for them but I also can point out why they stink. Bagon for example has no claws, and looks very docile (ok, part of the lore… the lonely Pokémon). Gibble looks like a Sharpedo smushed into a Charmander.

Goomy, Jangamo-o and Frigibax have mediocre bad designs. Goomy and Frigibax being really bad. Goomy exists in an era where Zygard exists. And in the anime Goomy and Zygards whatever-its-called cell form basically fill the same roll; slimey joyful thing that can evolve into something big. If Frigibax would have a design more like Gibble, closer to the Godzilla-look Baxcalibur has it wouldn’t be such a stinker.

For instance I used to confuse bagon is the first evo of machoke. It’s a little bit level bland in design, it’s concept is excellent and I love it there though..

Love this one. These designs are all so good.

Larvitar for the win though. I remember playing Pokémon Gold back in 2001, strolling endlesly through mount Silver and suddenly stumbling on a Larvitar having no idea what it was.

The good old days without internet.

I find this evolution-line to be very frustrating. I dislike Frigibax, I love Arctibax, and then I dislike Baxcalibur.

I don’t really understand the jagamoo hate. I’m going to chalk it up to it being a later gen Pokemon because I’m salty. Bagon, Goomy, and Gibby are all worse OBJECTIVELY. Sorry haters, I’ve declared it as objective because it fits my narrative

dang great idea! And looking at this, man…they REALLY designed the “psuedo-legendary” pokemon really well. I genuinely like them all except for the first one, which I missed and the vote was correct. Good monsters all around.
