It’s for my PC. I plan to hold for the foreseeable future, but don’t want to get burned on spending a bunch of money on worthless slabs should I decide to resell at some point in the future. How new is the space for collecting graded Pokemon related magazines? The pop reports are so low, has it been growing much over the years?
That is some super cool artwork. I think corocoro will be very rare to find graded given the cards being pulled out making it an incomplete magazine.
The old mags are so thick it would be wild to grade those.
For the most part paper materials should not be stored sealed but rather in breathable clean and controlled storage.
My old corocoro mags show humidity damage over the years quite easily. I wouldn’t want them trapped in plastic lol
That’s a great point, paper is a lot more humidity-sensitive than cardstock
it will be interesting to see how PSA does grading comics and magazines. CGC still holds the big share of comic grading especially the older era of comics. i would like to see how PSA handles the big comics like Amazing Fantasy 15, and Detective Comics
Pokemon cards are still pretty niche in general but have moved into the mainstream again. Peripheral things like magazines, etc are just tiny in the grand scheme of things. I doubt they will be worthless in either slab.
