The only issue is you have to actually deal with Kevin Douglas. He has some of the worst customer service I’ve encountered. Takes weeks to reply to simple inquiries about your cards, is always making unprofessional excuses for his tardiness, and is kind of full of himself.
I used him as a middleman last year and while he did deliver exactly what he said he would do (sent cards for grading, returned them), the whole experience was needlessly stressful.
I guess that is a fair criticism. I have had a handful of delays working with him as well but im local and typically get a reply within a few days and pick up without any shipping.
Did anyone end up trying PSA Canada yet?
At this weekends Toronto sports card expo, all drop-off submissions were routed through PSA Canada. Not what I would have preferred but I’ll get first hand experience of the service.
I still don’t see the value proposition
They have they’ve learned that if it all goes tits up it’s not a biggie for them just the people who used them
I think i will just continue to not submit cards and if i decide to, do it directly. Ideally there would be an actual grading facility in Canada (and in a perfect world, Toronto 
), but until that magical scenario occurs, direct submission is the best imo
Agreed. I went there under the impression I was submitting to the American side and they would bring the cards back to the grading facility. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. I guess this was an opportunity for them to start pushing the PSA Canada brand. I’ll report back with final costs of the service when I get my cards back.
I had my submission forms filled out on the psa website and they accepted my submission for psa thru the same psa canada drop off. Just had to tell them i wanted it kept on my own account. Went smoothly so should be no issues and then ship back directly from psa when its done.
That’s interesting. I also had all the forms from the PSA website but was told the complete opposite. I asked if the submissions would be reflected on the psacard website and after checking with someone working behind them they said no.
Weird i Dropped off sunday maybe by then things were worked out?
Brad the head guy at psa canada took my submission and assured me it was no issue to keep on my own account. Now just waiting to see how long until it pops in on psa tracker
I’ve since emailed and Brad answered, confirming that. I dropped off on Saturday. I think the employee I was dealing with was just confused about the specifics. Your submission should be in safe hands if Brad accepted it.

This is a middle man service. I just ship straight to PSA from Canada with no issues. Canada post does not offer more than $1000 worth of insurance. Risk is necessary if you wanna make plays as a Canadian. Using a middle man increases risk (in my opinion).
All that being said, Kevin Douglas and this service has many happy customers and positive reviews, if that’s the route you wish to take.

Glad to see that i emailed brad again the other day to ask what was going on as the 30 day experation for me wouldve been saturday.
Glad they arrived now so hopefully few more months and can have them back in hand lol
