PSA 8s starting to establish themselves

So has anyone noticed that PSA 8 cards are really starting to establish themselves?

And I’m not talking about 1st Edition Base Set; that’s obvious.

But, Shadowless holos are really starting to take off in PSA 8 grades, and even some of the Base Set Unlimited holos (other than the Big 3 because those are also obvious) are starting to gain traction.

I’m also starting to see Jungle and Fossil PSA 8s beginning to generate some steam.

I guess it’s like Scott always says: nothing wrong with the lower grades.

I love the 8 grades. For me most of the time its all I need… Especially when the price point is sometimes less than half of its 9 counterpart.

I’ve always liked the number 8. I was born in 1988, in the 8th month of the year. 8 is also (nearly) the symbol for infinity. also, crazy 8s > go fish. so there’s that too.

Absolutely. I’ve been going for Shadowless 9s which I’m about done and I’m thinking of doing a 8 set. Sometimes it’s like 5-6x times cheaper than a 9. :open_mouth:

I see a lot of prices increase too, I feel they’re underpriced IMO.

A lot of people are just giving up collecting 10s at current prices. I see a lot of interest in anything NM. We’re not at a point where you have buyers lined up to buy 7s, but that’s going to happen as well eventually.

As far as the 7s go, I have actually noticed that some of the Shadowless 7s are actually starting to pick up some steam. Only a matter of time before they take off, as well, in my opinion.
