I have a serious issue and I feel this should be an issue to more of you serious collectors too.
I want to discuss the merits of a card PSA slaps a 10 on versus a card BGS grades a 9.5 that looks better an every way shape and form to a PSA 10 and why people will pay more for a card that’s of lower quality then one of higher quality all cause it has a 10 on it???
Are people stupid why are people spending more money on cards that are lower quality and why are PSA standards so low with their 10s
To me this doesn’t make any since. If I were a long term collector I’d want absolutely perfection and that would’ve be achieved through PSA.
10’s should be Unicorns rare majestic the things people in the world only see once in a lifetime!!! With BGS we achieved that with CGC we definitely Achieve that (they hardly ever hand out a 10) but would PSA its GEM MINT 90% of the time on modern sets!!! And pack fresh vintage!!
