Itâs horrible now. Search engine has become âwhat ebay thinks you should be interested in if you are searching for that.â I donât know if itâs AI based now, but it does not work and even when I use quotes or advanced search, the engine does not cooperate.

Have bought a few items off his auctions last two weeks and it says shipped without tracking. Nada received so far for the order from two weeks ago
This has happened to me before. Supposedly, Probstein ships their authenticity guarantee orders without tracking because they bulk ship to PSA. Last time, eBayâs tracking system didnât tell me that it arrived to PSA. Youâll randomly get notified when PSA has authenticated it. Not an ideal tracking situation, but they have never lost one of my orders.

Advanced search works wonders, i dont have any issues with ebay search when i use that.
Fanatics on the other hand, their back end is so bad if you change a filter(highest price, featured, earliest year) you get different results or it omits results due to some bug.

If anyone that is working on a platform like this and needs help implementing advanced search and filtering capabilities, let me know. Iâve built even more complex and scalable solutions several times over.

Yep, Probstein charged me $18 shipping on a $3k card for no tracking. 
Crazy, but I guess thatâs the world they live in at nearly $1 billion in card/collectibles sales.
I agree, fanatics backend is their Achilles heal, it could use an update.

Itâs basically just an extra seller fee in disguise. Yes they charge only 5% on $1k+, but they really are getting a little extra with that shipping, because most buyers would be factoring shipping into their bid (Iâd assume). Still a good deal though so I canât actually complain.
The inconsistency is a little funny though. Why do these have different shipping costs? They are identical!
Anyway - looking forward to seeing how their service runs on their own platform. If they really can pull off even lower fees that will be great.

Yeah people always ask âhey can you do 95% payout and match Probstein on 1k-3k items instead of 93%â and I just say no - but what I really want to say is based on my calculations he is making between $10,000-$15,000 a month in shipping alone more than we are on graded TCG for the same shipping expense - just a hidden fee passed to the buyers. And even our shipping is higher on average than PSA vault or DCSports - so heâs taking in even more on average than those two as well.

That probably wonât happen. Probstein has generated almost a billion dollars worth of revenue since opening shop. It would be a bad look for eBay if they did that. Not to mention they would lose money doing so.
That being said, we have seen this movie beforeâŠ

Took two weeks for my order from probstein to be authenticated. Is this a normal turnaround moving forward for eBay authenticity?
Yes, it seems to be backed up at least 2 weeks since mid September.

Itâs been so slow. Paid for an order on 9/9 from a regular seller (not Probstein) and it just got delivered to my vault on the 29th after authentication. Spent about 8 days in authenticating status

I just had a card take two and a half weeks at Authenticity Guarantee.
probstein extra slow lately, still havent been paid out or gotten an update since my auctions ended 2 weeks ago. I emailed and he said that one staff is out on maternity leave and another who handles payouts is out with covid.
