Had it been tracked to their mailbox?

No tracking, stamped envelope

Ah. Yeah, I’ve had that. But if it’s tracked, marrked delivered, and feedback left, IDK they have anything they can do. I was told once I complete the transaction as a buyer, and it’s marked delivered, I’m SOL.

Thank you for your message.

Yes, I honestly don’t know what he wants from me. I’ve now been waiting another two days for a response. I already wrote to him asking how we are going to resolve this. As far as I’m concerned, he can open an eBay Buyer Protection case and let eBay handle the matter. However, he would have to do this by the 21st of this month, otherwise the Buyer Protection period will expire once the 30 days have passed.

I’m not going to message him again for now. Over the next few days, I will also delete my second eBay account. I only created it so that I could contact him in the first place. I will let him know that he should contact eBay and leave my email address so that he can contact me.

I will also advise him once again to check his blocked users list and possibly remove me from it. That is really the only explanation I can think of for why he is unable to contact me.

I just want to get this resolved as quickly as possible, but I constantly have to wait for a response.

As far as I can remember, I bought the booster in 2018 or 2019, shortly before COVID, and I no longer have the receipt anyway.

Best regards

Sometimes I hate this hobby, I have to be honest. I’m going to rent a table at the next convention and sell my stuff there but not online anymore. I’m fed up with this, and there are so many scammers. Not that I want to call the buyer a scammer, but it’s the same everywhere you can make a lot of money. From now on, I’m only going to sell single cards online.

I’d take a step back and let it be. Dont worry about the neutral feedback, it doesnt matter. Its a good thing you arent hearing back from the seller. The longer it drags on, the more likely you get to keep your money. There is 0% chance you get your pack sealed back in the event of a return request by the buyer.

Also, dont let one ebay transaction change your strategy. If we all did that, we all would have quit ebay and have lost out on building our collections

Also, I HIGHLY recomend DO NOT delete your second ebay account, until this is done and behind you. Audit trails are much more helpful and productive when it’s intact.

I agree with eevee. Sit and wait. Don’t engage anymore. Don’t do anything. and if he lets it roll over, even better for you.

Update:

It still hasn’t been resolved. The buyer last told me 13 days ago that he would have the booster pack inspected and get back to me. Also i believe the buyer protection period expires in about 4 days.
