I have tried to source information in some of my magazines and I will search more in my collection before grading some of these but its been difficult a couple apps I use have not been very helpful.
It’s been while since I posted on E4 but have had success in the Non-TCG side more than once. I know obscure cards can be very tricky to pinpoint anything will help, but of course the PSA N9 along with a Mario Bros Topsun / Top Seika card was denied grading. Not enough information seems somewhat lazy on PSA’s side, and now with the backlog would be so hard to resend the card.
I think Beckett will grade it but not sure how they compare to PSA? I’ve never graded a phone card I know its niche compared to regular cards wandering if BGS is a better option than having nothing. I usually prefer PSA for cards in general. I have used other companies but wasn’t worth it for the cards I did grade looking back on it now!
I think most phone cards graded by Beckett are primarily because it’s the only game in town. They grade more than PSA. PSA has expanded which cards can be graded, but they still have a ways to go. Overall phone cards are still pretty niche, especially the one you shared. I personally held many raw for years and only recently sent out a batch to grade with PSA. Basically a graded phone card can add value, but the market is still establishing itself, hence why so many are still denied by PSA,
Yeah this seems to be my only option ideally a magazine Ad would be great which I need to do the leg work searching through some old Japanese Mags but as you know digging through hundreds of pages gets tedious I am gonna go ahead and use Beckett at this point N9 decision Ya using the app I saw another one sold on a Chinese website. But not much background information provided just a sale and bids. I do more Jumbo’s than phone cards waiting to see if any of my Jumbo’s are N9 as well since the backlog at PSA.
