Pokemon x Daniel Arsham collab UPDATED

Daniel Arsham is doing a collab with Pokémon. An artist known mainly for his work with stone and crystals. He’s collabed with many people and high fashion brands such as Dior, Off-White and Gucci. Think its pretty amazing Pokémon is collabing with more artists lately. Below is previews of the collab and some of his past works. There will be limited sculptures released of certain pieces. Can’t wait to see the full collection. What do you guys think ?

UPDATE : Pikachu Crystalized sculptor will release April 24th via ARSHAM EDITIONS — DANIEL ARSHAM. Limited to 500 liquid Resin sculptures.

UPDATE :
Also a collection of t shirts will be releasing online via UNIQLO on April 24th of Hand drawn Pokémon characters reimagined by Arsham. Pictures below.

I love Daniel Arsham’s work, but all this screams to me is $$$ and I can already hear my wallet crying. Excited!

Is there any more info on the release dates of these?

I don’t think you all realize what a big deal this is for our hobby. It’s HUGE and we should all be grateful to TPCI for branching out into these new arenas.

Sorry I just saw this question. Fairly new to this Tapatalk app. So everything is still on schedule for this release. It will be announced April and is still planned for an April release as well. Prices will be more than the Bearwalker decks but still affordable.

Do we know what exactly he his making? A card, statue, ect? I am pretty interested, i’ll make sure to follow how this goes.

Another update mock for a figure. Also Daniel was given full access to Pokémon’s archives and met with the entire staff in Japan, having transparent access to basically everything. I can’t wait to purchase as much as I can.

No know one knows yet. But he will break the news and give more details first via his social media in April. Apparently everything is still on course which is a tad surprising.

These are epic. So good for the hobby for them to be branching out like this. All these different markets have some potential to bring in more to the main game.

Also, how sick would it be if the exposed/corroded part of the base charizard made up his flames?!
