why semi-rigid is better than toploader ?
semi-rigid presses the card, so it can’t slip out. When cards are in top loaders, they can easily slip out which is why you’ll see them taped at the top a lot if you buy from eBay
top loaders are thicker tho so they’re good for storing at home

Can anyone who’s at the event confirm whether the Pokémon Go, Unite, and Pokken players receive the Champions Festival pack or is it just the TCG/VGC players?
For people trying to get around London tomorrow, the DLR appears to be running in the day which can take you to some areas of London and goes near the Excel.

does anyone have an idea of when a good time to start scooping up champion’s festivals would be? i’d like to buy a staff card and maybe a sealed pack, but im not really seeing them on ebay rn, only solds, and the price is steadily increasing it seems lol. maybe im expecting things to be too quick, it does make sense that people would probably wait till they’re home at the very least to start listing and selling.
I’d wait til people get home from worlds. Supply will increase substantially

i havent been able to watch a ton of the games, but it kinda seems like mew vmax is still very much stomping the meta rn. anyone wanna talk decks and play? i am still new to tcg and learning. i am expecting palkia vstar to be the winning deck, but i also really like the arceus vstar decks. i know the flying pikachu has grown in popularity a lot since it won the NA nationals
I saw the coverage of Pokken Dx tournament and it was really awesome. I love watching fighting games but had never paid attention to Pokken. The game is great to watch and follow and the games played had really hype moments. Would recommend watching the Masters Grand Final game on YouTube as it was legit hype. The winner was also community sponsored to get to the event so it just made the victory extra special and wholesome. Really nice coverage of the whole event.

I’ll have to check it out. I remember being excited for Pokken to come out, but then really sucked at it when I played it at best buy, so i never bought it LOL

I vaguely remember watching it previously but I don’t think it was a 3v3 team style matchup. This 3v3 format has spiced things up a bit. I also don’t play the game since I don’t think I have the aptitude to play fighting games but I don’t think this game is as technical as SF or Tekken. Still it had great fighting elements to make for a good watch and also easy to follow.
I also saw some Unite games which I have played and also seemed fun to watch. Sadly the one team representing India got eliminated in the first round which was disappointing

I’ve been cautiously standing on the sidelines of unite. I’m not sure if I should just start playing Smite again, or do unite lol. Sorry your team got eliminated

I’ve been watching & tbqh this tournie has been less interesting than the regionals. i loved seeing the flying pika & mewtwo v union but it doesn’t seem there are many surprising decks this tournie.
