I know what you mean. For me, the McD’s promo shows the texture of the black cat quite well, and I like the juxtaposition of a night-time Pokemon in broad daylight. The city in the background is also amazing. However, the night time version from Town on No Map doesn’t look as pretty compared to the McD’s promo, and less appealing as Karen’s VS Umbreon, with that glow as @eeveeteam correctly pointed out.
But the Neo File 1 came out before the first Neo set
And t17 is still considered typhlosions rookie card by many.
I was just replying to what is generally used to consider a pokemon’s rookie card by many, at least here in the west, whether its right or not.
I will have a battle royal style fight-to-the-death with anyone who believe T17 is the rookie card.
PSA and Ken Golden were slabbing and slinging T18 art before T17 art even made it to shelves!
Gemmmmmmmm mint 10. Every single solidary card. Gem mint 10. OMG 10 gemmy minty.
Ken Goldin was the original hype beast. Saying this will be worth 10k-20k
I’m not exactly a huge Slowpoke fan so to speak, but I’ve always loved the Fossil variant the most. I just love the simplicity. I have to admit though, the latest Art variant from Scarlet & Violet has a sweet vintage vibe to it as well:
I knew the WOTC cards would be heavily debated but I’m glad to see the gen 3 rookie early ex cards are unanimous bangers
That reminds me of one of my favorite cards. I do think the Kyogre ex is the best Kyogre with emerald just slightly behind
SWSH really did give some of the Hisui Pokémon its best cards right off the bat, it’s hard to imagine a future generation do this much for a specific form again
They did swinub dirty covering him up with the text box
For me it’s definitely typhlosion. I’ll throw my dude venusuar up there but I feel like it’s had great cards after base set still.
The one on the right looks better than base artwork for sure!
The ex from fire red is arguably the best art work of venusuar. It looks so good
