Exciting day. Finally obtained every eevee card in pocket, and flaired the normal ones without spending a penny. Traded for 1 card, and pulled the rest myself/used pack points. The QoL features made it better, but overall happy.

Alright, so after some time reflecting, I see now that I’ve done a lot of complaining about how this game seems to actively sabotage my efforts. First, it was the decision to restrict promos from being traded…
…then the same with shinies (which, as of now, is no longer the case).
Given this, I just decided to stop complaining and do something about it. The last few weeks have been pretty productive on that front, and after a bit of time and elbow grease (ESPECIALLY these past few days during the promo rerelease event), I can finally say:
I’ve done it. Mostly.
You can see in each of the first four images that they’ve been obtained in all nine available languages. Among these is the card from Promo A that I was so upset about. My luck was still, to put it professionally, quite ass, but it came together eventually.
Quick note about Deluxe Pack ex though. I understand that this choice was made for the sake of game design, but it’s a little odd that the cards you receive in that expansion count toward it in number, but are treated exactly the same as their Genetic Apex counterparts. This makes it functionally impossible to differentiate non-foil DPex cards from GA, meaning I guess I don’t have to count them separately? Maybe this only makes sense in my head.
Now the only roadblock to my goal is this DAMN SHINY.
This is going to cost a lot of pack points. Guess I’m ripping Celestial Guardians for the foreseeable future, unless anyone’s willing to throw away points for the most expensive card in the expansion and trade. You’d be absolute heroes and have my unending gratitude, but I still feel bad for the previous instance wherein @bbobrob, @DarthEevee, @will, and @mrpandachum grinded Promo A for me and all the effort was wasted. Sorry guys!

Well I’m glad you tagged me because I can help you with the shiny. And it’s no concern at all. We’re all playing the game with the info we have at the time. Frankly I’d rather us all have done that then when there were fewer total cards to chase than now when there’s a set we haven’t seen the size of since GA out

I beleive there is a global trade discord somewhere. I know it was mentioned at some point. You may have luck there too. Id trade it to you if I had one.
