So, I finally got one of those animated cards! And I have to admit, Iām a bit disappointed. I was hoping I could move around inside the card, but TBF, itās kinda like learning that Boba Fett DID actually survive the sarlack pit and not only that but HOW he didā¦ It didnāt measure up to the imagination and expectationsā¦ Still, pretty cool tho!

I use this and it rocks, but I do wish we could speed up playing the fossils. Dugtrio is a smart includeā¦ I add sabrinaās and meowth to draw and stall, but I like your plan.

@xileets I also got an immersive card recently and had the exact same reaction. I thought youād just be drawn into the card and would be able to look around as you please, rather than have it walk you through a scene. Still neat, but not fun as I had thought.
Just today, I found out there is a turn limit for VS matches 
It was a drawn out Venusaur ex vs Venusaur ex battle, and I think after 30 turns, it just kicked us out saying the turn limit was reached and gave us a draw. Was interesting when it happened!

Finally was able to grind my way to 45 wins, mainly with Charizard ex! I also pulled the Pikachu ex immersive card, which was the last one I needed to round out the trio! Getting close to the Mew, but havenāt sniffed a crown rare and Iām sure it wonāt be until trades come around that Iāll be able to complete the set, haha.

Yup.
In play testing my machamp deck last night, I noticed quickly that going 1st kills my HP advantage and can kill my entire deck, so I included 2 hitmonlee and a sabrina to give me a turn 1 option and preempt the disadvantage of going 1st.:
They play an energy, and 'lee lets me pick off weak switching options of soften their back bench, then I sabrina a few turns in to hopefully negate their turn 1 AND 2 energy adv.

Iāve noticed that going turn 1 is an advantage when you have a Pokemon that evolves and only needs one energy. Turn 1 with Exeggcute and Exeggutor ex in hand is ideal since you can do up to 80 damage (100 with weakness) before the opponent can even have the chance to evolve.
For the previous electric deck I was using, the probability of winning was largely determined by order because Heliolisk and Electrode need 2 energy (3 for Zapdos) and would either be doing 70-80 damage on turn 2 if starting second or 0-20 if starting first. Going first against a Pikachu ex deck was basically a guaranteed loss but going second I usually had a chance.

@xileets The turn limit seems to match the number of turns it would take to draw through both decks without any extra draw cards or hand disrupters. I.e. You start with 5 cards, and it would take 15 turns to draw through your deck.
I would say Exeggutor ex is probably one of the only cards that can gain any measurable advantage going first. I think all the other evolution-one-energy attackers (mostly one energy for 40 damage) donāt apply enough pressure to negate a first-to-two-energy advantage. Iām always hoping to go second. I guess first-turners get the first chance to Red Card to three cards though

I use some extra card draw and have drawn through my deck a few times. At least there no deck-out condition.

Just made it to 45 using a nasty Mewtwo/Gardevoir deck. I almost feel bad about it.
Edit: Sources tell me this is the meta deck right now. I donāt pay attention to these things, I just got wrecked by it a few nights ago and thought itād get me to 45 lmao
