I know re-prints have happened plenty of times but I also think full arts of the original base set holos would be a super cool idea. Keep the base form, but add whatever artistry they want around the Pokemon instead of just the blank holo.

(Rest of the ideas sound quite nice too. 
A complete TCG set with the original sprites of blue and red would be amazing, like you said @lemonofpromise. But likely won’t happen.

I have Been totally a fan of Gliscor since Ash vs Paul back in sinnoh leauge. Such a shame it does not have a SIR cuz the Pokémon have huge Potential and Imagine If mitsuhiro arita or
Shinji Kanda illustrared it then it would be something out of the ordinary

Agreed. Right now I only collect Base, Jungle, and Fossil cards individually, but I also opened some 151 when it was available. The only packs I want to rip now are the 30th anniversary Japanese packs and I have a feeling it’s going to be impossible to get them in the US for a decent price.
Since I never open packs, I might have to pay scalper prices for a box.

Depends on what the set, likely the trademarked Celebration Collection, will be. If it’s like 25th Anniversary Collection, it could be 30 cards featuring a range of Pokémon and/or Trainers that best illustrates 30 years of Pokémon. A set like that will be abundant because its singles will be ultra cheap
I imagine that this time, with a globalised card design, the set will be identical across all languages

The 25th Anniversary set was impossible to obtain in stores and online every vendor had a 1 per customer. And the new set will also contain a Charizard (probably just Base Set reprint) a Pikachu (probably a Full Art) and I am betting on Moonbreon or at least any of the big ones from the Eevee set.
It will be scalped, it won’t be out there.
