Pez Collection

inherited this today, have no idea if there any good ones.
If there’s any experts here I’d love some info!

Are there any over $10? or are they all the Plain Jane $2-3 ones?

Any with no feet are worth looking for prices. I used to collect pez about 12 years ago and I think I have them stored away somewhere… haha. I remember my grandma found a very rare angel pez that was worth around $120 at the time and I was so happy with my little candy descender lol

The Daffy Duck, bugs bunny and Easter rabbit in the middle look pretty old and possible worth a little bit (?).

Older Star Wars and disneys should hold some value.

I like the Flintstone:)

Well I spent way too much time learning about Pez last night. Basically went through ebay sold auctions and learned to decode them.

Unfortunately no home runs, but a couple worth more than $10.

All the Star Wars were a strike out, apparently they weren’t released until the mid nineties and you can buy them new in pack for $3, lose they are worth half that.

They have patent dates on them which helps date them a bit:

out of 63, 4 of them were damaged and unfortunately two were higher end ones(3.9 Austrian Santa and girl Garfield), bummer. basically kills the value.

Hand a hand full of 3.9, but only a little were Austrian made which is where they originate from.

Pretty much going to best on these:

Bugs Bunny No feet, 3.9 Austrian $20
Big eared rabbit, 3.9 Jugo $10-20 (or a ton if it’s a weird color combo)
Charlie brown/girl from charlie brown 3.9 Austrian $20

the rest are only worth 50 cents to $2 each.

So no home run, but the knowledge was worth it. I go thrift shopping all the time so now I have one more thing to look out for.
Pre 3.9 super heroes are sought after, also anything with a rubber head. The guns sell for quite a bit also.

I never knew they made mini Pokemon ones though, I might have to get them lol

the Mini Mew and Pikachu look AMAZING: bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_PEZ_dispensers

Sharing is what this forums is all about!

I’m mainly a film camera collector so if any of you ever have a question about that feel free to ask.
Specialize in Polaroids and Rangefinders.

I got started with cars, mainly American 1965-1977 but also knowledgeable in Japanese 1990-2012ish.

That’s where my scree-name comes from, my first car was a 1975 Ford Maverick. Hence maverick75, a lot of people mistakenly think I was born in 1975, but was not until 1989.

Which coincidentally is the same year that Taylor Swift was born in and I am also a huge T Swift expert, as embarrassing as that is to admit.

Taylor is terrific. She’s an interesting gal.
Mavericks were not. At least back in the day. My closest friend, who’s a psychologist in Beverly Hills today, bought a Maverick brand new years ago. Can’t remember the year. Of course today, all those type cars are highly desired.

This brings back memories though. Here’s my 1st three cars:

  1. 1958? Mercury Park Lane
  2. 1960 Borgward
  3. 1961 Carmen Ghia

All I can say is LOL and where’s my cane;)

I got married in 89.

yeah
yeah
yeah

Some woman was foolish enough to marry me.

I’m sure you’re a VERY lucky guy😍

They were actually ignored for the most part until recently, since they were featured on some fast and the furious movies a couple of times(They’re HUGE in Brazil, I mean even more popular than Mustangs).

Since then they’ve gotten a lot of air time on TV shows so they’ve gone up in popularity and value.

Here’s some photos I took last time Taylor was in LA:

Also got to see Alanis Morissette that day, I grew up in the 90s so it was a treat!
